DJI Enterprise Products End of Production

DJI released an announcement pulling the plug on several DJI Enterprise Edition products that have reached the end of their lifecycle. Official Announcement quoted below:

At DJI, we are constantly evaluating and updating our product line to meet the evolving needs of customers across industries. This means that we are streamlining the production, sales, development, and service for some products to make room for exciting new solutions that will be released later this year. Please find below the definition of each milestone and a list of products.

For everyone confused about this news, I’d like to reiterate that this announcement involves Enterprise Edition products that DJI manufactures for a specific market covering the industrial sector. As their products may look similar to consumer products, the difference is the specialized add-ons that are used to scan, detect with infra-red, mapping, and other relating functions. The news indicates that a line of enterprise tools will be out of production by the end of 2021 to make room for new, updated tools to be produced for better functionality,
