CapCut says it has surpassed660 million usersacross more than 170 markets and 30 languages, marking a major expansion for the video-editing platform. The company shared the milestone ahead of CapCut World 2026, a global event series designed to bring creators together and showcase new product features. For Philippine users, the platform’s scale reflects the continuing growth of mobile-first video creation, short-form storytelling, and creator communities across Southeast Asia.

CapCut World 2026 is scheduled to continue in Los Angeles and London after its Singapore stop, with product reveals, hands-on experiences, creator workshops, and showcases planned across the series. CapCut’s event format puts its user community at the center of the product conversation, allowing creators to see new tools and share how they use editing software in real projects.

CapCut Global Head Xiaoqi Fu said more than400,000 new templatesare published daily. The company also says it offers more than 85 artificial-intelligence tools, with 7 million creators using AI features each day. Those tools reportedly helped generate more than 6 billion pieces of content in 2026, including images, video clips, and effects. The figures show how editing platforms are moving beyond basic cutting and filters toward integrated creation workflows.

For Philippine creators, CapCut’s regional reach matters because the company says its services support markets including the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, Vietnam, and Indonesia. The platform’s combination of templates, mobile editing, and AI-assisted tools may help creators produce more content quickly, but users should still review privacy settings and licensing terms before publishing material that includes third-party music, footage, or images.
