Maybank Philippines has removedDragonpayfrom Maybank2u PH Internet Banking and Mobile Banking, with the change taking effect on September 30, 2026. In its customer advisory, the bank told users to complete online Dragonpay payments before the cutoff and warned them not to create new recurring or scheduled Dragonpay bill payments during the run-up. The change is now an operational issue for customers with pending instructions. It is not evidence that Dragonpay itself has shut down or that every payment route offered by the service has ended.

The affected channels are specifically Maybank2u PH’s web and mobile banking services. Maybank’s notice does not say that branches, ATMs, other banks, e-wallets, over-the-counter channels or merchant checkouts are being discontinued. Dragonpay’s own public pages continue to describe collections through e-wallets, cards, online banking and over-the-counter payment centers. That distinction matters because a customer who sees the option disappear inside Maybank2u should not assume the merchant, biller or Dragonpay payment network has vanished everywhere. Users should confirm the current instructions with the merchant before retrying.

Maybank’s public Maybank2u information page lists online bills payment as free of charge, while separately showing a P10 interbank-transfer fee and a P50,000 daily account limit for that service. It also lists Maybank-to-Maybank third-party transfers up to P100,000 daily per account. Those are general service terms, not a Dragonpay replacement fee or limit. The bank’s Dragonpay advisory did not announce a new channel, price, cap or eligibility rule, so readers should avoid treating unrelated Maybank2u transfer terms as the official replacement.

Customers with unsettled payments, school or travel bills, subscriptions, or recurring instructions should review their status rather than relying on an old setup. Maybank lists customer support at (02) 8588-3888 and 1-800-10-588-3888, while Dragonpay lists help@dragonpay.ph. Dragonpay says merchant onboarding, pricing and integrations are managed through Xendit, but that broader product context does not prove why Maybank removed the option. The safest next step is to ask the merchant which currently supported Dragonpay channel applies to the specific transaction.
