The14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summitwill take place from October 22 to 24 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. The event is themed “Driving ASEAN Forward: Building an Integrated Electric Mobility Ecosystem” and is being presented with support from ACMobility, AutoHub Group, the Department of Energy and Toyota Motor Philippines. Organizers describe 2026 as a breakthrough year for electrification in the Philippines. The summit will combine vehicle displays, charging and power infrastructure exhibits, owner experiences and discussions for motorists considering an electric vehicle.

TopGear Philippines reported that more than45,403 electrified vehicleshad been sold so far in 2026, citing the latest data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines. The figure covers the broader electrified-vehicle market rather than only battery-electric cars. That distinction is important as hybrids, plug-in hybrids and fully electric models continue to develop at different speeds. The summit arrives as fuel-price volatility and expanding model choices push more Filipino buyers to compare charging requirements, operating costs and the practical range of newer electrified vehicles.

The Philippine EV Community will join the summit with an owner-led display featuring members’ daily-driven electric vehicles. The group is also scheduled to hold talks on October 24 focused on charging, ownership costs and everyday driving. EVAP president Willy Q. Tee Ten said the event is intended to let visitors see the displays, try test drives and hear directly from owners. Those conversations may help address questions that are difficult to answer through brochures alone, especially for first-time buyers evaluating home charging, public charging access and long-term maintenance.

The event’s listed participants span passenger cars, commercial vehicles and electric two-wheelers. Brands include BYD, Kia, Toyota, Nissan, MG, Geely, Zeekr, Deepal, Mini, Lotus, Changan, Avatr, Dongfeng, Forland, NWOW and NXT, alongside charging and power-infrastructure companies. The summit therefore offers more than a model showcase: it is also a view of the ecosystem needed for wider adoption. Visitors should confirm admission, schedules and any test-drive requirements through the official EVAP channels before attending, since program details may change during the event.
