Tonik Digital Bank has expanded its mobile app with everyday purchases that include prepaid load, telco promos and game credits. Fintech News Philippines reported on October 8 that users can buy load forGlobe, Smart, TNT, TM, DITO and GOMO, while credits are available for games such as Mobile Legends, Roblox, Genshin Impact and PUBG Mobile. The feature positions Tonik’s app as a single place for selected small digital purchases, alongside its existing digital-banking and lending services for customers.

Users can enter their own mobile number or top up someone else’s number, according to the report, with load and promo purchases delivered directly to the recipient. Game credits are sent by SMS. Tonik said the purchases do not carry additional fees, which may appeal to customers who want to avoid switching between banking, telco and gaming apps. Availability still depends on the selected operator, product and the app’s current catalog, so customers should review the transaction details before confirming payment.

The new catalog includes bundles covering data, calls and SMS across the participating operators. Game-credit support spans mobile and PC titles, but Tonik said it does not sell credits, PINs or vouchers for online gambling, e-casino or online cockfighting products. That boundary is important because it clarifies the intended use of the feature: ordinary communications and entertainment purchases rather than regulated or restricted betting services. The launch reflects how Philippine digital banks are adding practical, low-value transactions to retain daily app engagement.

Fintech News Philippines linked the rollout to reporting from Manila Bulletin, Unbox and One More Game, making it a specialist-publication report with multiple local references rather than a direct Tonik newsroom release. The article also noted that lending remains Tonik’s core business. Philippine users should treat the service as an app feature, not a new standalone telco or gaming platform, and should confirm current fees, supported products and delivery conditions inside Tonik before each purchase and relying on the current in-app terms.
