vivo Philippines has opened pre-orders for the vivo V80, bringing the company’s latest portrait-focused smartphone to physical stores nationwide, the vivo e-store and the vivo Store app. Inquirer Technology reported that pricing starts at PHP 42,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, while the 256GB version costs PHP 47,999. The pre-order period runs through November 13, giving Philippine buyers a defined window to secure the device before wider availability and claim the launch offers attached to the new model.
The V80’s headline feature is a ZEISS co-engineered camera system built around portrait photography in portraits. The phone includes a 50-megapixel ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, plus 85mm and 100mm Center-Stage Portrait options designed to keep subjects prominent in busy environments. vivo also highlights AI Creative Camera tools, including studio-style lighting effects and a sticker feature that turns people, pets and selected photos into movable visual elements. Those functions position the V80 as a camera-led device rather than a routine specification upgrade.
Design is another part of the Philippine launch pitch. The phone uses cold-carved glass, an aerospace-grade aluminum frame and rounded edges, with the Starwish Purple finish using Laser Holographic Lithography to create a shifting, galaxy-inspired surface. A lower-saturation Wander Green option is also available. The finish and materials are intended to make the handset feel more personal in the hand, while the two storage configurations give shoppers a choice between a lower entry price and additional room for photos, apps and video.
OriginOS 7 adds the software personalization layer, with themes such as Wiggle, Pet Pals, Glint and StickIt changing how wallpapers, effects and interactive elements appear. Pre-order customers can receive a PHP 2,000 discount, limited-edition vivo Buds Air3, Gold membership privileges, six months of broken-screen insurance and six months of 100GB Google One storage for new users. Installment buyers can also use Home Credit offers, including a reported PHP 85-per-day plan over 18 months and a PHP 500 voucher code at checkout.
